Research on the status of e-commerce development based on big data and Internet technology

Abstract

The cross-border cooperation of big data, Internet technology, and e-commerce plays an important role in guiding the development of the application of science and technology in a people-oriented direction. To provide the latest research fronts of e-commerce, based on mapping 265 articles retrieved from the Web of Science database from 1989 to 2020, this study used VOSviewer to systematically review the development status of e-commerce with the support of big data and Internet technology. The analysis of the key phrase map shows that despite the technical support of big data and the Internet of things, there are still large gaps in the research of e-commerce in these aspects. E-commerce is a direct product of the development of the Internet and a new development direction of the application of big data technology. The analysis of the three main clusters shows that China, the United States, and the United Kingdom have significant advantages in data resources and have a prominent impact on the organization and source clusters. This paper makes a further study on the co-citation analysis and bibliographic coupling of source clusters, and it shows that the publications with high co-citation rates have a high bibliographic coupling degree.
